skills. A Psychic is able to tune into higher vibrational energies, therefore

un-biased observer, can view your situation objectively, and therefore often
notice something about your situation, that you may not be able to see for
yourself.

The word “psychic” derives from the Greek, “psy” which means mind.
There are many common words which contain that root, such as psychology
(the study of the mind). In current usage, the word psychic means a person who
had the ability to use their mind to see, or perceive, things that are not
apparent to other people.
It also
refers to the ability itself, as in saying a person is psychic.

can someone else know things about me if nobody tells them?
A. Every living thing puts out energy in to the world. That energy is all connected
at a higher vibrational level. People who are psychically sensitive can zone
into that level of consciousness and connect with those higher energies. On a
subconscious level, most of us put up mental walls, making it hard to feel or
pick up on the higher energy that is available to us. This creates a limited
awareness. However, a psychic or sensitive person who exercises their intuitive
awareness breaks down the barriers of those walls, allowing them to “see”
into another person’s life, or energies.

happens during a psychic reading?

There are many different styles of reading – almost as many styles as
there are readers.
A reading may be
performed by the use of clairvoyance, astrology, numerology, palmistry, tarot cards, stones or a number
of other forms that are used for divination purposes. Most readers will welcome
questions regarding any topic related to the information they are giving you or
how they are actually getting the information.
Depending on the length of time of your reading, you may have the
opportunity to explore more subjects, or dig deeper into a few specific
questions.

Is this for real?

NO!
That is about the biggest scam
there is in the psychic community. Those who practice this type of deception are
the ones that give true professional psychics a bad name.

watch Sylvia Brown and John Edwards on TV.
Can anyone else do what they do?
A.
Yes and No.
Psychic ability
is latent in everyone, but it comes out differently in each person.
The type of readings Sylvia Brown and John Edwards do allow them to reach
into the afterlife to communicate with individuals who have passed from this
earthly plane.
Doing this requires
tremendous focus and concentration. Like all psychic skills, this level of
intuition can be obtained by one who is dedicated to developing higher skills of
awareness. A reader who can open up the door to the “other side” needs to be
able to understand and connect to the higher vibration of energy that exist
beyond this level of awareness and communicate clearly what they hear in order
to be a good channel.

much should a reading cost?
A.
Readings should not cost an arm and a leg, for starters.
Some of the big names, like Sylvia or John may charge a lot of money just
because they can, and this is one way of cutting down on the number of people
clamoring for their services.
On
the other hand, there are lots of other readers who just haven’t made it onto
Oprah yet, and are quite happy with anywhere from $50 to $100 an hour.
The difference in price may have to do with how long the reader has been
in business, what their skill level is, or why they are doing the readings in
the first place.
So, you shop
around until you find a reader you like who charges what you can pay.
There’s always a fit, from both sides of the equation.

long does a reading take?
A.
Depending on where you are getting a reading, it may be a few minutes to
a couple of hours.
For convenience,
many readings are scheduled according to 15 minute intervals, such as 15 minutes,
1/2 hour or 1 hour). A good reader will work to meet the customer’s needs
within their time line.

many times should I see my psychic reader?
A.
Going to someone like John Edwards or James Van Praagh should be looked upon
for most people as a once in a lifetime event.
If you have found a reader you like locally, in your price range, you
should feel free to visit them as often as you feel the need. Readers will tell
you what they see, it is then up to you what you do or how to act on the
information given to you. If you feel you need reminders or reinforcement, a
reader can help you clarify your priorities. Are you in a major life change? If
so you may feel the need to go more often, but if things aren’t moving as fast
in your life at this moment you may feel you need to go every so often for
re-enforcement of your path. A good psychic will tell you to come when you feel
you need to and not give you a schedule to go by.

can I know if a reader is accurate?

Accuracy is dependent on not only the psychic who is doing the reading,
but also the client’s openness during the reading process. It is very
important that if you are the one receiving the reading that you clear your mind
of conditioning beliefs that may keep you too skeptical to receive the reading
accurately. Every reader will be accurate up to the point they are skilled, and
to the point that the client is open to them.
A valuable psychic reader has a sincere motivation to be of service to
individuals who are truly seeking guidance.
The more skilled or experienced the reader,
the more accurately they will be able to predict not only what will come to you,
but how you may respond to it. One thing to consider is the realm of time
involved, you need to remember that physical time and spiritual time are not on
the same page. A psychic may give you accurate information but be off on the
timing a small amount. Therefore you need to be patient for the outcome that has
been predicted for you. One other thing to consider is that any reading is not
cemented in gold. Each individual can make choices, and by their actions to
those choices, create outcomes in their own lives. A psychic can give you an
accurate account of what is happening and how you will be affected by the
situation based also on the path that you are on at that moment of your life.
Should you change gears, so of speak, then the outcome is also assured to
change.

Are we psychic?
A.
Dreams are one of the first ways a person identifies with the psychic
realm. The “veil” between this world and the “higher energies of
awareness” become thinner during sleep. Our minds are open as we slumber and
do not have the limitations of judgment or ego that our conscious mind holds on
to in the waking hours of our lives. It is very likely that our deceased loved
ones will choose to come to us through dreams because of our openness as we
sleep. If they came to us while we were awake it would be hard for our minds to
accept it or understand it since there is an emotional bond that stands in the
thralls of our ego. Every individual has the potential to develop their
intuitive skills. It is possible for anyone who works on their skills to become
