Angels Within

By Elizabeth Gaines
Angels are
super natural beings who radiate between God and mortals. Angels are
God’s emissaries. Do they exist in their own right, in realms
celestial? Probably so. Does an energy, a vibration we would interpret as
love and light coming from Gods head take form as it interacts with human
consciousness? Probably. Perhaps it's our own need to interact with the
semi divine messengers, spiritual companions, protectors and guides that
allows for this existence. We need to see divine beauty as our own near
likeness and allow for this existence. Our Judaic-Christian God is without
form, imageless, abstract and remote. The exalted image of ourselves is
generally how the angel is depicted, helps us to feel closer to the source
of all being. All esoteric and mystical traditions teach oneness. All
things are a part of all other things. Quantum Physics tells us there is
no separation between object and observer. We are inexorably part of
everything we think we observe. Consequently we and the Angels are
completely bound up with one another. Good angels are a reflection of that
projection. They become the part of ourselves we are happy about. They are
a projection of our higher self. The dark angel or demon is then the part
we have difficulty seeing in our selves. This projection becomes that of
our lower and oppositional nature. The dynamics between the two are what
most stories, myths, and legends are about. As we struggle to face the
demon within us, we begin the path of psychic integration and spiritual
growth. We can’t grow without this facing of the dark side of the self.
Bringing the dark into the light of consciousness renders it powerless,
giving the light additional strength. The Angel is a deep and profound
mystery as deep as the mystery of the soul. It can be likened to infinity
and eternity. Probing the mystery leads us to endless permutations that
deepen our insights into ourselves.
The experience
of an angel today is as powerful as in Biblical times, with the same life
changing effects. The prophets were ascended to different vibration
dimensions called heaven and hell to create change. Here in the state of
consciousness called heaven god was so available that laws and moral codes
were given to these visionaries. The epiphanies today, are more personal
but perhaps exactly what is needed. By way of the angel within we plumb
the depths of the unknown and are miraculously given precisely what is
needed. The wonder is that this changes lives in a dramatic way and
entices us to carry on with renewed hope. Isn’t God wonderful? Our
angels are both outward and inward They exist independently and
interdependently.
Angels are
Gods emissaries. They exist only to do the will of God for all creation.
Angels are not the same as guides but can be assigned like a guide. Guides
are part of a group of souls that continually reincarnate playing
different roles within the group until spiritual perfection is attained.
After this peak is attained, the soul returns to the god head, the Eternal
light. Our Judaic Christian Ethic tells us about the story of angels and
choice making when it comes to will creating the separation of good and
evil. Lucifer was separate, self centered and enamored with himself. As a
consequence he rules in dark and hidden space after masquerading as the
light. He opposes, He doesn’t surrender to god goodness and light. He is
fueled by fear, chaos and disorder. This energy is quite clever and when we
fail to look inside ourselves Lucifer can be active in us. If a person
can’t see who they are, they haven’t had the courage to see their own
darkness. Then the willingness to surrender to God doesn’t easily take
place. Seeing the demon within brings humility, integration and growth.
