Holistic Healing

Holistic or "wholistic" healing addresses all parts of the
individual, not just the physical aspect of a person where
manifested illnesses are most apparent. Holistic healing is
not intended to serve as a band-aid or a one time fix. It is
an ongoing journey of discovery in search of more answers
and ultimately; living better, being healthier, and striving
for wholeness. Holistic healing is not an "alternative" to
conventional medical care. Sometimes going to a medical
professional is the best solution to addressing a disease.
Reiki
is a Japanese technique for stress reduction, relaxation,
and healing. It promotes healing and is administered by
"laying on of hands." It is based on the idea that there is
an unseen "life force energy" flowing through each of us.
This life force radiates from God and keeps us alive. If
this energy is blocked or low, an individual may feel ill at
ease or stressed. On the other hand, if the energy flow is
high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.

of Reiki healing.
Meditation is learning to channel our inner self to make our
mind calm and peaceful. When ones mind is clear, free from
worries and mental discomfort your sense of self is a true
happiness. If we train in meditation, our mind will
gradually become more and more peaceful, and we will
experience a purer and purer form of happiness. Eventually,
we will be able to stay happy all the time, even in the most
difficult circumstances.
The eyes are the window to the soul. When you look into the
eyes of a newborn and it feels as though you are looking
into the eyes of an adult you are looking into the eyes of
an old soul. This may be why some individuals are wise
beyond their years in childhood yet others are foolish in
age. Did you ever look at your child and wonder who the
adult is at times? Maybe you have switched roles in this
life time.
Reflexology
Reflexology was recorded 5,000 years ago in the Hei Jing, a
Chinese publication of the Hwang Dynasty and earlier in
Egyptian pictographs. It is considered a close cousin to
acupressure, a healing method used in Eastern countries
where reflex points corresponding to organs and limbs are
manipulated with pressure to achieve pain relief, rid the
body of toxins, repair tissue or increase circulation.
Reflexologists achieve the same results by manipulating
reflexes on the feet.
